Today it’s time for the ladies to kick some ass on FFOTD. Our first feature today is from a long time supporter, and good friend of Fanboy Theatre, Ms. Amber Moelter! Some of you may be familiar with Amber’s work on her first Fan Film, Catwoman-Copycat. Her follow up to that same film, Catwoman-Resolution  is what we will be screening today. The film was directed by Colin Blakeston, and stars Amber as Selina Kyle/Catwoman. Recentlty Amber has Her started up Her own Independent Media Company, ALM Talkies. Some of her first projects with the producton company are new additions to Her Catwoman Fan Film series. Her newest Catwoman feature, Catwoman-Re-Emergence is also featured below. Lookin’ good Amber, keep on keepin’ on with the Catwoman goodness 🙂 Enjoy everyone!

FAN FILM OF THE DAY- G.I. JOE: OPERATION RED RETRIEVAL

Since you’ve been such good Girls and Boys while Fanboy Will was away, I’ve decided to treat you to an extra special treat today…Today’s FFOTD is an action packed, ultra-violent tribute to America’s favorite highly trained special missions force, G.I. JOE! G.I. JOE: Operation Red Retrieval is the brainchild of Director Mark Cheng and takes no prisoners when it comes to the gritty Military realism, and the true ugliness of warfare. Yep, This ain’t the Joe you watched as a kid, but it does feature many of the characters from the show, and, SURPRISE SURPRISE they are actually dressed like their animated counterparts 🙂 If only Hollywood could take a hint from Mr. Cheng and crew…Oh well…Great job Mark! I truly feel your love, and passion for G.I. JOE all throughout this film. From one Joe fan to another, Thank you Sir 🙂 One final note..This Fan Film is NOT for the little ones, so before viewing throw on Toy Story in the next room or something..Now, sit back and enjoy!

PS-The surprise ending is killer!

FAN FILM OF THE DAY-JONAH HEX

Today’s FFOTD features one of my favorite comic book characters of all time, Jonah Hex. You don’t see many Jonah Hex Fan films floating around out there, especially those of the animated variety. Thanks to director Bruno Sathler, We get just that, A Flash animated short that features DC’s most beloved gunslinger. I hope you enjoy 🙂

FAN FILM OF THE DAY- HALLOWEEN:BLACK EYES

Today’s FFOTD is a spooky little number from Director Dave McRae. McRae’s, Halloween-Black Eyes, manages to capture the fear and suspense of John Carpenter’s original 1978 film and cram it into a bite-sized fan feature. So turn off the lights, lock the doors, and enjoy…….

FAN FILM OF THE DAY-ATOMIC MAN VS. MARTIAN INVADERS

Today’s FFOTD is an oldie, but a goodie, from the Godfather of Fan Films Himself, Mr. Donald F. Glut. Atomic Man Vs. Martian Invaders was made way back in 1967, But Glut’s camera work, and all around creativity, make this short a true classic. You can check out Mr. Glut’s website here

Today’s FFOTD is a little different..Sure it features the stars of a hit animated series from the 80’s, but it’s not who you’d think it is…Move aside Gi Joe, roll over He-Man, make way for, The Care Bears-Back In Action! This laugh out loud Fan Trailer is brought to you by the good folks over at www.itsnotabook.com. Consume!!
